Pricing

Agile Gauge is licensed per seat, per organization, and bought here rather than through the Marketplace (a bring-your-own-license listing: see the license terms).

Unlike a flat, organization-wide licence, you pay only for the people who open it.

14 days, full features, no card required

Every organization gets a 14-day trial: enough to run a full sprint start to finish before deciding anything. The trial is per organization, not per user: everyone in the org can use every view during the trial window.

Per-seat pricing, for any team size

Base

$20/month

Covers up to 2 users.

Each additional user

+$10/month

No limit on team size.

Add or remove users whenever you need to. A user added in the middle of a billing period is charged only for the time left in it; a user removed is credited against your next bill. Your license key never changes.

Example: 2, 5 and 20 users

UsersMonthlyAnnual (billed yearly)
2$20/month$200/year
5$50/month$500/year
20$200/month$2,000/year

From purchase to seats

What happens after you buy, and how seats are enforced.

  1. Buying a subscription issues one license key, sent by email within minutes.
  2. An Azure DevOps organization admin activates that key once for the whole organization under Configuration → License. A project admin's role is not enough, since a license covers the organization.
  3. The admin will then assign the purchased seats to named people inside the extension. Everyone else in the organization will see a plain "no seat assigned: contact your admin" screen rather than a disabled or degraded product.

Seat and license status are checked with our licensing service every time Agile Gauge opens, not only in the browser, so an assignment is enforced consistently across the organization.

If a subscription ends or a seat is removed, that person loses access the next time their access is checked. There is no separate manual step. A cancelled subscription keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for.

Questions about pricing and seats

What is a seat?

A seat is one named person who can open Agile Gauge inside your Azure DevOps organization. It is not the same as an Azure DevOps access level (Basic, Stakeholder, and so on): it is specific to this extension.

Who needs a seat?

Only the people who actually open Agile Gauge. Colleagues in the same Azure DevOps organization who never open the extension won't need a seat and won't count toward your total. You pay only for the people who open it.

What happens after the trial?

Every organization gets a 14-day trial, full features, no card required. During the trial everyone in the organization can use Agile Gauge. To keep using it afterwards, buy a subscription; an organization admin activates the license key and assigns seats to named people.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. You can cancel any time before your next renewal date. Cancelling stops future billing, and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.

What's the difference between annual and monthly billing?

Monthly billing is the default. Annual billing charges 10 months' worth up front instead of 12: two months free compared with paying monthly.

What are the refund terms?

Every payment can be refunded in full within 14 days, no questions asked. Email [email protected]; the refund policy has the details.

Is there a limit on the number of users?

No. Every team size is self-serve at the same per-user price: $20/month covers the first 2 users, and each additional user is $10/month.

What happens if we add or remove users in the middle of a billing period?

Adding a user is charged only for the time left in the current period, and your license key stays the same. Removing a user credits the unused time against your next bill.

What currency are prices in, and do they include tax?

All prices are listed in US dollars (USD) and don't include any taxes that may apply where you're based. Paddle, our reseller, adds the tax for your country at checkout.
